Relay for Life – will meet on Monday evening, February 13th, at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.
G.I.R.L.S. of Joy – will meet at 12:00 after church on February 19th. Lunch will be provided. This is for girls in 1st Grade through 8th Grade. New leaders are Lisa Hamric and Bobbi McEndree. All girls are invited.
American Baptist Men – Annual Prayer Breakfast at Parchment Valley on February 25th at 9:00 a.m. All men from our church are invited. There is more information on the bulletin board. The van will leave the church at 8:15 am.
“Souper Bowl” Food Collection – It’s time again for our annual food drive for our local food bank, Helping Hand. Non-perishable food items will be collected during the month of February.
Aluminum Tabs – Please continue to save aluminum tabs from beverage and food cans. Glenn McEndree sends these to Ronald McDonald Charities who converts them to cash for their many projects. Get your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers involved! This is a perpetual ministry we all can participate in.
Sunday School Attendance – According to attendance figures, the last time we had 100 people in Sunday School was the third Sunday in February, 2009. We’ve hit the 90’s a few times since then, but just couldn’t quite reach the 100 mark. The record attendance was 106 on the fourth Sunday in March, 2008. Last week we had 98! Here’s the challenge: Let’s not only break the 100 mark, but go for a new record on February 26th! Tell everyone you know to come to Sunday School, not only on the 26th but every Sunday. Pray about it and let’s see what happens!
